We are looking for an exceptional Brand Manager to join our DACH marketing team in Hamburg! The position is Interim for a period of 18 months (1 and a half years) to cover a maternity leave, starting in March 2024. In this position you get to champion a brand that is not just a product but a movement. This is a chance to be the driving force behind a memorable brand experience that resonates throughout the DACH region.

As the Brand Manager, you get to take the reins on multiple responsibilities, from overseeing new product launches to orchestrating day-to-day marketing activities. Your influence goes beyond campaigns: you are the guardian of consistency, ensuring every piece of content is impactful, consistent, and truly Tony’s.

You are the mastermind behind creative below-the-line activities, initiating partnerships with brands, organizations, and influencers who share our values. You will be the one developing and managing PR strategies, navigating social media landscapes, and crafting a loyalty program that amplifies our message. You are managing and coaching a junior communication specialist to shine in their role. You will be an essential member of the DACH marketing team and report directly to the Marketing Lead.

What you will do:

  • Bring to life inspiring campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring they resonate across the DACH region.
  • Guarantee all marketing activities align seamlessly with Tony's brand guidelines, always delivered on time and with finesse.
  • Innovate with below-the-line activities that generate awareness and allow consumers to savor our products firsthand.
  • Cultivate partnerships with brands, individuals, and platforms that share our values, broadening our audience reach.
  • Direct agencies to produce content that's not just on-brand but 100% Tony's.
  • Craft PR strategies for each market and take charge of managing the PR agency.
  • Develop social media and influencer strategies, along with a loyalty program that intensifies our brand message.
  • Mentor and guide a junior communications specialist.
  • Analyze brand and campaign performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of FMCG brand management experience.

  • Exceptional communication skills in both German (native speaker) and English.

  • A proven track record in project management, juggling multiple projects effortlessly.

  • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the Hamburg office on average 3 days a week. More is fine!

  • The ability to analyse media through an ROI lens – every cent makes an impact at Tony’s!

  • A solid understanding of market data to validate campaign performance

  • Proficiency in InDesign and Illustrator is an advantage.
