Your role at Tony's

Tony’s Chocolonely exists to make 100% slave free the norm in chocolate. Tony’s creates awareness, leads by example and inspires to act. We are an impact company that makes chocolate and not the other way around- so you can imagine that the Impact is core to everything Tony’s does and as the Impact Intern your contribution is valued.

The goal of this internship is to ensure that you get an insight what the day-to-day work on sustainability looks like within a company. Your tasks will enable you to work on various impact topics and you will gain a broad understanding of Tony’s impact.

The main projects you will work on:

  • Update Tony’s impact information:  Tony’s impact is well documented and there’s a lot of information available for the entire team. You make sure that all knowledge sources, such as Tonypedia, and other relevant material like the serious Q&As are up-to-date. You are responsible for polishing the content and coordinating the addition of pictures and engaging content such as visuals and graphs.
  • Strengthen Team Tony’s impact knowledge:  You inform the sales and marketing teams on impact topics, so they are capable of sharing our story the right way and counter challenging and critical questions. To keep all the relevant impact information fresh on top of everyone’s mind, you think of creative ways to engage the whole Team Tony’s in digesting and using the information to be ‘impact empowered’. This can be in form of workshops, during the weekly Monday Morning updates or fun and informative sessions.
  • Support the Annual FAIR Report (AFR):  Tony’s Annual FAIR Report is one of the ‘coolest’ sustainability reports in town. It’s a big project with loads of different elements to it. You will support the project team with ad hoc work such as fact-checking, proof reading with a critical eye and collecting additional or updated information and material where needed.
  • Update Tony’s Open Chain and related websites:  These external knowledge sources contain a lot of information and require maintenance. You coordinate publication of our thought-leader-pieces and the collection of testimonies, pictures and engaging content such as quotes.
  • Learning:  This is your internship so use this opportunity to learn and further develop in different areas that interest you (feel free to discuss with your manager what and why you want to do outside the projects outlined above and we can see if there is a way to make it work)
